TSR1: Religion for the Skeptic

So, let’s get started.

What is all this fuss about God and religion? No really, do we have a creator? Do we come FROM something and go TO something? How does any of this make sense or matter? Or does it?

That’s what we need to find out, and it doesn’t seem like any one book has all the answers. But it’s the skeptic, if anyone, who will find the answers if there are any. And the skeptic finds that one of the paths to the answers is PHILOSOPHY. Because philosophy wants you to QUESTION EVERYTHING.

In the process of questioning things, you may chance upon a conclusion of your very own. And THAT is the most important thing. YOU HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT FOR YOURSELF. Why? Because no matter what anyone tells you, you MUST UNDERSTAND IT FOR YOURSELF.

Once you attain the neurological configuration of a concept, and truly understand it, you can always come back to it. That is to say, you can only know something when you experience knowing it. And the only way to do that is to start from within. Everything else will then follow.
